If you love The Grateful Dead, Cannabis, and Psychedelic experiences, you should enjoy Bob, Ed, and Andrew talking about what may be the Greatest Concert On Earth.
I talked my son Andrew into a Dead and Company Show at the Sphere last week. Now we are both Deadheads, and I have purchased tickets to 3 more upcoming shows. In all that amounts to 16 1/2 hours of seeing a band I was never that interested in.
Big Surprises:
- How “Young” the audience is. This is not a Classic Rock show. The cult like following includes young (and very attractive) modern day hippies.
- John Mayer is a guitarist for the ages.
- Dead and Company don’t repeat songs for 3 nights, meaning it’s a 10 hour concert, which you binge over 3 days.
- Day of tickets on Saturday night scalped for up to $4,000.00. AND THEY ALL SOLD. Take that Taylor Swift.
- You may see Dead & Co at another venue, but The Sphere is the only fully immersive performance venue of it’s kind. This is not hype. You can see photos and videos, but until you experience it in person, you will not get it.
